OUR FARM PARTNERS

Below are a few places you can get Giddy Goat Cheese & some people that are part of the Giddy Goat family.

ROSEBANK FARMS

OPP was happy and grateful to play a role in launching the Rosebank Farms CSA program. Starting with no members in April, we know have over 100 members. Visit www.rosebankfarms.com to see what is happening at the farm and get signed up for the next season.

GREEN GROCER

Celeste @ The Green Grocer is a real inspiration to the local food community and graciously let us start in her booth in Spring 2009. Her farm on Wadmalaw Island provides grass fed beef, eggs, milk and local veggies to Charleston's top restaurants. We will be developing a local Cow milk cheese in late 2010 with her Sea Island Jersey milk.

OUR LOCAL FOODS

You can add Giddy Goat Cheese 4 oz, 8 oz, or 5 - 2 oz variety packs to CSA orders. OLF has partnered with Adaptive Gardens, a great local organization that works in the area of horticultural therapy. Good people, good food. www.ourlocalfoods.com

LONE PALMETTO FARMS

lone palmetto farms

It all starts with great milk.  We are growing alongside Lone Palmetto Farms in Lamar, SC. Stacy and Mike have a small herd of milking goats and we are collaborating to grow our respective businesses and share our product with more people.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

In the Spring of 2009 OPP helped launch the Rosebank Farms CSA program. Starting from scratch we built the CSA to over 100 members in our first three seasons and look forward to a great 2010.

What is a CSA?

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a simple way to support local farmers, while providing your family with healthy, fresh, locally grown vegetables. CSA members pay a seasonal or annual fee and in return receive a weekly share of produce harvested at the peak of ripeness, flavor, and nutritional content. This arrangement guarantees the financial support of local farmers.
